WHAT DOES BLIND AND VISUALLY IMPAIRED MEAN?
With millions of people worldwide who are blind or who are visually impaired, only a small portion of them have no light perception. Some people see very well in certain circumstances and some may only see colors and patterns. For others, their field of vision is complicate and difficult to explain. For people whose vision is changing, it is not the fear of darkness but the fear of admitting that they are losing vision, which feeds their fear.
We educate the public and blind individuals who are unfamiliar with complete blindness. We guide you in reaching your immense potential. And share your joy as you discover your independence and joy in life. Even if you don’t think of yourself as blind, we likely have something to offer you.
The Blind Center offers a wide range of programs to help those with vision impairments. Our goal is to provide resources and services that will help individuals lead full and meaningful lives. Our programs include educational guidance, counseling, and recreational activities. With our support, people with vision impairments can access the same opportunities as those with sight. We believe in creating an inclusive and supportive environment. Our experienced staff are dedicated to helping individuals with vision impairments reach their full potential and lead independent lives. We strive to create a better future for those with vision impairments.
