Client Programs

Tuesday – Ahoy! Chair Exercise with Ms. Jane Pacenta. Craft or cooking activity day.

Wednesday – Chair Caning with Mr. Steve Moler. Basket weaving with Mrs. Sally Moler and Mrs. Katie Lake.

Thursday – Craft day with Lynn Warren.

Assistive Technology Seminar with Ms. Gloria Jinks (every 3rd Thursday).

Friday – Closed.

The Blind Center serves as the home office for the Division of Health and Human Services for the Blind  and Visually Impaired. If you are seeking to learn more about resources and opportunities available through the state of NC for those impacted by low-vision and blindness, please contact: Kim Revels, Social Worker for the Blind at 252-946-6208.

Gift Shoppe Hours

All items displayed in our gift shoppe are created by the blind and visually impaired with oversight provided by skilled volunteers. All sales generated directly support the clients through programs offered each day.

The gift shoppe is open Monday–Thursday 9:00am-5:00pm.

The Blind Center of North Carolina is overseen by a Board of Directors and also maintains Client Representation through the Beaufort County Association for the Blind and Visually Impaired.
